"Grown up, and that is a terribly hard thing to do. It is much easier to skip it and go from one childhood to another."

BREATHTAKING PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES OF YOUR CHILDREN THAT WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO THAT MOMENT FOR YEARS TO COME

Family and children are our world. Sometimes we have so little time to step back and pause for a moment to appreciate the wondrous little people in our lives, as before we know it they are all grown up!

Captured With Light's children's portrait photography shoots are tailored to your requirements and the personality of your child; because no two are the same.

If your child loves climbing trees and jumping in puddles that's great! Lets pick a woodland location for the portrait shoot where they can be themselves. Or if your child prefers dressing up and pretending to be a favourite pop star then the photography shoot can include chances to change outfits and capture their desire to perform.

These portrait sessions are about bringing out the personality of YOUR child through breathtaking images that you will treasure forever.

RELAXED, NATURAL SESSIONS

Portrait sessions are designed to be relaxed so as to best capture your child's character with emphasis placed on creating the very best possible images with minimum fuss.

Authenticity is at the heart of Captured With Light Photography. The images created are not contrived; they are moments in time that have unfolded naturally that capture the character and personality of the child in front of the lens.

Rachel specialises in using natural light where possible to obtain beautiful and timeless photographic artwork of you and your family that you can enjoy looking at every day for years to come.

Rachel allows longer slots for newborns or for children with additional needs to allow for feeding and settling so as not to put pressure on parent and child.

Fun-filled children's shoots

Children's portrait sessions are run so as to be relaxed so that the kids can do what they do best - be themselves! A stress free environment will help to relax your child who can then bring more of their natural character and personality to the session. Children generally feel more themselves in familiar surroundings, or in an open space outside. Each session is tailor made and can combine bespoke portraits in your own home through to a scenic shoot on location.

"Rachel Hayes joined our family on the SPA railway for a stream train ride. Our boys are train bonkers so it was a great setting for a tailor made photo shoot. Rachel is professional, friendly and had a natural rapport with the kids. She captured some beautiful moments and their personalities perfectly. We absolutely love the images Rachel has taken and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a family photo session. We will be back for more photos with Rachel for sure!"
